A longtime explorer of club culture and sound, Nicky Wide is an Italian DJ and producer with over 20 years of experience behind the decks. Based in Milan, he’s known for emotionally engaging sets rooted in house music in all its shades, from hypnotic grooves to soulful textures and percussive rhythms, always guided by an instinctive sensitivity to space, time and energy. He began his journey with ten years of classical piano training, before embracing vinyl culture, the club scene and electronic experimentation. What sets him apart is a sharp connection with the crowd, an intuitive reading of energy, and a silent dialogue with the dancefloor that shapes every decision with balance between instinct and intention. As a producer, he works mainly with Ableton Live, combining analog and digital tools with a technical and exploratory approach. Constantly updated on the latest technologies, he carries on a continuous sonic research, collaborating with several Italian DJs and producers. Within his creative space, Wide Heart Studio, he develops projects where sound, image and atmosphere converge authentically. His signature lies in attention to detail, aesthetic tension, and the ability to create emotional connections through sound.
